How to Find Your SIM ID

What is a SIM ID?

A SIM ID (Sims ID) is a unique identification number assigned to Sims in the game The Sims. Although Simmers usually identify a Sim by their name, they may also refer to them by their SIM ID.

How to Find Your SIM ID

To find your SIM ID, you will need to open the cheat box. To do this, press Ctrl+Shift+C on your keyboard. Once the cheat box is open, type in the following cheat:

sims.get_sim_id_by_name [Sim's Name]

Replace [Sim's Name] with the actual name of the Sim you want to find the ID for. For example, if your Sim's name is John Smith, you would type in the following cheat:

sims.get_sim_id_by_name John Smith

Once you have entered the cheat, press Enter. The cheat box will then display the SIM ID for the Sim you specified.
