Early Life and Career
Mikel Arteta was born on March 26, 1982, in Spain. He began his youth career in football and played for several clubs before joining Arsenal in 2011.
Managerial Career
After retiring from playing in 2016, Arteta joined Manchester City as an assistant manager. He was appointed as Arsenal's manager in December 2019, replacing Unai Emery.
Accomplishments
As Arsenal's manager, Arteta has won the FA Cup in 2020 and the Community Shield in 2020 and 2022. He has also led the team to the UEFA Europa League semi-finals in 2021.
