# Aecon Joint Venture Awarded Steam Generator Replacement Contract

Aecon Group Inc. (TSX: ARE) announced today that the Steam Generator Replacement Team (SGRT), a 50/50 joint venture between Aecon and SGT, has been awarded a contract to replace the steam generators at three units at Bruce Nuclear Generating Station in Ontario. The contract is valued at approximately $1 billion and is expected to be completed by 2030.
The SGRT team brings together Aecon's expertise in nuclear construction and SGT's experience in steam generator manufacturing. The team has a proven track record of success, having recently completed the Unit 6 Major Component Replacement (MCR) project at Bruce Nuclear Generating Station.
