CSI: Miami Actor Dean Stockwell's Son, Kyle, Dies at 49
Dean Stockwell's young son found dead at 49.
Kyle Ellingson, the son of actor Dean Stockwell, died of an accidental fentanyl overdose on May 10, 2023, according to the Brevard County Medical Examiner's Office.
Ellingson was 49 years old. His death was ruled an accident, and no foul play is suspected.
Dean played the character Horatio Caine in the CSI: Miami crime drama. Ellingson appeared in several episodes of the show as Horatio's son, Kyle Harmon.
Ellingson was born in Los Angeles, California, on December 21, 1973. He began acting as a child, appearing in several television shows and movies.
In addition to CSI: Miami, Ellingson also appeared in the television shows JAG, NCIS, and Burn Notice.
Ellingson is survived by his father, Dean Stockwell, and his mother, Joy Marchenko.
